Diploma in Nursery Teacher Training (N. T. T)

Nursery Teachers' Training course also known as NTT is a diploma course for teachers who want to teach and cater to the students at nursery level or pre-primary level.

Nursery teachers have a pivotal role to play when it comes to encouraging and facilitating the learning and development of young children. They play a defining role in delivering an appropriate experience for young learners who have varied learning needs. To develop the sensibilities a nursery teacher or an aspiring nursery teacher needs to be thoroughly trained to work with young minds as they help in the smooth transition between home and play school by providing care and support and also maintaining a good learning environment for the young children. To become a nursery teacher one has to be sensitive to a child’s needs, flexible in teaching approach, have good communication skills and must have patience to meet the needs of children.

On completing the NTT programme, candidates can apply for jobs as a Nursery teacher, Assistant Pre-Primary teacher, In-charge or Helper, Nursery manager and can also become Home Tutor.
